The leaders of the church are called elders in the Bible — men noted for character of life, ability to teach, and commitment to truth. Deacons serve as models of Christian servanthood.

Grace Community Church is an independent congregation, governed under Christ by a plurality of elders. These are the men entrusted with that charge.
Dr. David Bunce
Co-Pastor/Elder
David has served as a senior pastor, an associate pastor, and in various other ministries, and worked as an intern with Dr. Mohler on The Briefing. He recently graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a PhD; both he and Jessica hold master’s degrees from SBTS. David and Jessica have three children — Susannah, Daniel and Peter.
Dr. Ray Rhodes, Jr.
Co-Pastor/Elder
Ray Rhodes is one of the founding elders and has been the preaching pastor of Grace Community Church for the past 20 years. His faithful ministry and expositional preaching has been used of God to impact many lives both inside and outside the walls of this church. He is the author of several books, including Susie: The Life and Legacy of Susannah Spurgeon, Yours Till Heaven, and his biography of Charles Spurgeon, Spurgeon: The Man Beyond the Pulpit.
Scott Williams
Elder
Scott Williams serves as an elder of Grace Community Church, faithfully counseling, teaching, organizing, and administering many aspects of the life and operations of the church.
Deacons
Serving the congregation
Deacons care for the practical needs of the church and its people, freeing the elders to give themselves to prayer and the ministry of the word.
